Wrap the dough in cling film and leave in the fridge for  20 minutes.

Dust the work surface and rolling pin with some flour and then unwrap your dough and roll out flat.

Use your Gingerbread man cutter to cut out lots of people shapes.

Lay each one on the greased baking tray and  carefully cut one leg in to a peg leg shape. Use the left over dough to roll small balls for an eye patch and stick one on to each head.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
Leave to cool.

Once cool, use the black food colouring or food colouring pen if you have one to draw on the patch.
Let the children enjoy painting their pirates with the food colouring as they wish!
