FOREST SCHOOL TASTER DAY

This project has been in the pipelines since last summer and and we are so happy to announce that we will be housing our own Forest School in our village, with the help of other villagers, the Parish council and a local Forest School company.

We wanted to offer a fun day for local people to come and taste some of the fun and play that can be experienced in a Forest School session.

"X" had a great time cooking some stick bread. He brought sunglasses from home with him and spent most of the day wearing them!

This is how to keep the bread safe until it is cool enough to eat. Elbow bread!

A local stables offered to bring a pony and give pony rides as well which were a huge hit!  "M" was nervous to start with but very soon she came around to the idea and wanted to come back for more!

"Es" was a natural on the horse. She took it all in her stride and looked like she had been on horses since birth!

We enjoyed a picnic by the fire and spending time in the fresh air! There was stick decorating to enjoy and a cake sale to raise money!

We have a Bridge building event coming up so that we can gain access to the site of the Forest School! I can not wait!
