HARVEST TIME AND OUTDOOR LEARNING CENTER CREATIVITY

Another sunny day and time to be outside. We took picnics, sharpies, blankets and drinks with us and went down to the Outdoor learning centre.

We started by finding some stones and using the pens to decorate them and make them look like something else!

We used charcoal from the fire pit as war paint!

We were really lucky and noticed a Combine harvester in the field behind us. It was great to be able to get so close and stay safe at the same time.

The children found it hard to see it clearly so myself and some other adults that had come with us, built a look out tower so the children could look over the hedge.

The boys made a sign for the tower!

NEXT STEPS:
    • Look at books about farm machinery.
    • Think about Harvest and supporting our farmers. here does our food come from?
