These wedge blox are a daily favorite for all ages of children in my setting. I love to watch as the children take the towers apart and then try to build another or re build them in to their storage tray. Stacking one inside the other and then they get a bit more adventurous and start to stack them on their sides to make more interesting structures.
On this occasion little "E" was trying to build 3 identical towers and she would check each one as she built them.
She then tried to stack them back in to the tray. She seemed to know when she had made a mistake and looked for a different piece!
This is what she ended up building!
Little "B" had a go as well. She took the tower apart first and then looked at how she could interlock them all back together again.
She even tried to use some blox on their side. This is a new approach that I have not yet seen her use. I am wondering how her towers will progress now she has tried this new construction technique.
