TRAJECTORY SCHEMA ON OUR WALK

Schemas really do show up in all areas of play. These pictures are a perfect example of how my little ones found a way to explore their Trajectory schema today while we took a walk to observe Autumnal changes starting. A nice long wall to push their trains along!

We spent quite some time repeating this interest and going back and forth..... up and down.

Today's play, meets the following EYFS Prime and specific areas:
  • Physical Development
  • Understanding the world

Characteristics of effective learning:
  • Playing and Exploring - Using what they know in their play.
  • Active learning - Being involved and concentrating.
  • Creating and thinking critically - Having their own ideas/ Using what they already know to learn new things.
